Jesus Is The Only Way

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. – John 14:6. Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven. It’s important that we share the true Gospel, and don’t allow ourselves to accept anything that is contrary to the Word of God.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. – 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

We live in a society where there are a lot of people that oppose the Word of God. There are many people that promote/push lies to try to get others to accept their agenda and belief system. As born again Christians, it is our job to tell people the truth in love. By “in love”, I mean that our motives should be pure (we should be kind); we should genuinely want to see people get saved. We shouldn’t allow fear (of any type) to stop us from sharing the truth.

In today’s culture, there are many people who are much more concerned with pleasing people than they are with pleasing God. There are people that live sinful lifestyles, and have no intention of repenting, yet feel if they die, they will still go to Heaven because they believe that God exists. Believing that God exists is not enough, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” – James 2:19. The preceding verse lets us know that the devil believes that God exists.

When you speak the truth, there may people that ask you questions such as, Why are you on this God stuff so much, or Why don’t you wait until you get older to get more into that church stuff? The thing they fail to understand is that when a person has a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ, they want others to know about it, and they want others to receive Jesus as savior. Think about a husband/wife relationship. If the husband never mentions his wife to his friends (they don’t even know that he’s married), and then one day the friends find out that he has been married for a while, they probably would say something like, hey how come you never told me you were married. If a husband and wife really love each other, they would want others to know about their spouse.

People can get so caught up in a routine, and living life a certain way that they lose focus of the reality that we all will be judged one day. People who receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will go to Heaven, those who don’t will go to Hell.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10
