Trust God Regardless Of What You're Facing

Have you ever went through a situation where you were praying about something, believing God would work things out for you a certain way, yet time went on, and things did not end up going the way you expected them to? In a situation like that, we should not lose faith in God. "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience." - James 1:2-3...Today's entry deals with trusting God regardless of what you're facing.

It can be very difficult when challenging things are happening in our lives, and it doesn't seem like there is any solution to the situation we're dealing with. But remember that God is in control, and has the solution for any problem that could ever come our way.  It's important that we keep our composure if we find ourselves in tough situations. Do not give in to any sinful desires that may try to rise up in your flesh. Don't allow yourself to become depressed. Instead, stand on the Word of God.  "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." - Romans 10:17.  Instead of responding to things based on how we feel, we should respond based on what the Word of God says. We as humans do not have all the answers. There may be things that happen that we don't understand, but we should never, and I repeat never get mad at God. God loves you, and wants what's best for you. "But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand." - Isaiah 64:8

It's also important that we continue to pray during challenging times. Continue to express your love to God. Continue to give God praise. And be very mindful of the words you speak. Don't complain, but instead speak words of life. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."- Proverbs 18:21. We should never allow anything to drive us away from God, our desire should be to draw closer to him.  And if we ever start to feel like there is no one that can relate to what we're going through, remember that Jesus can relate, He endured much worse.  "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:3-5

Be strong my brothers and sisters in Christ. Remember to cast your cares on Jesus. Don't be afraid, seek God, and trust Him regardless of what you're facing.

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."- Philippians 4:7
